On the morning of December 22, HZZK High-tech Zone held a signing ceremony for the Project of Driverless Service Equipment R&D and Intelligent Manufacturing for the Smart City. Wu Xianmin, Secretary of the Party Work Committee and Director of the Administration Committee of HZZK High-tech Zone, Tang Jun, member of the Party Work Committee and Deputy Director of the Administration Committee of the Zone and Director of the Administration Committee of Tonghu Ecological Smart Zone, Zhu Xiaoping, the legal representative and President of Hunga Investment Group and the heads of enterprises such as City Light (Shenzhen) Driverless Co., Ltd. attended the ceremony.

　　At the meeting, Dr. Lu Youyuan, CEO of City Light (Shenzhen) Driverless Co., Ltd. introduced the Project of Driverless Service Equipment R&D and Intelligent Manufacturing for the Smart City, and signed the agreement of the Project.

　　On behalf of the Party Work Committee and Administration Committee of the zone, Wu Xianmin extended warm congratulations to the agreement signing of the Project of Driverless Service Equipment R&D and Intelligent Manufacturing for the Smart City. He pointed out that the implementation of the project is the specific measure as a positive response to the national plan on accelerating the development of the new energy vehicle industry and strengthening the construction of the smart city. 

　　He emphasized that driverless equipment is of great significance in shaping industrial ecology, energy conservation and emission reduction, and the Project of Driverless Service Equipment R&D and Intelligent Manufacturing for the Smart City will lead the new direction of HZZK's urban construction and public service development. He hopes that relevant departments and City Light (Shenzhen) Driverless Co., Ltd. will jointly promote the R&D and application of new energy driverless service equipment of L4 and Automotive Grades for the smart city, explore and build a new model of smart city, and inject new impetus into the comprehensive construction of HZZK to become a national first-class high-tech zone.

　　It is found that City Light (Shenzhen) Driverless Co., Ltd. was founded in 2021. It is mainly engaged in the research, development and production of AI smart city cloud management platforms and that of new energy smart city driverless service equipment of L4 and Automotive Grades, and the driverless service operation for the smart city. It is an artificial intelligent technology enterprise. 

　　The company will invest in the R&D and construction of assembly production lines of L4 and vehicle grade new energy driverless service equipment for smart city in HZZK High tech Zone. The project will be constructed in two phases. For the first phase, the company plans to rent 2779 square meters of factory buildings from Qunyi Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, and build a production line, with a planned production capacity of 1000 sets, which is expected to achieve an output value of about 200 million yuan; For the second phase, it will complete a self built factory in HZZK High tech Zone, with an expected production capacity of 6000 sets and an output value of 1.5-1.8 billion yuan after its completion.
