On the afternoon of September 20th, the audition in Huizhou area of the "2023 Green and Beautiful Race for Charming Places of Guangdong" large-scale themed event was successfully held in Huizhou Radio and Television Station. It wasmainly hosted byGuangdong Forestry Bureau, Guangdong Radio and Television Station and People's Government of Huizhou Municipality, and undertaken byGuangdong Forestry Affairs Center, Pearl River Channel of Guangdong Radio and Television station, Huizhou Forestry Bureau, and Huizhou Radio and Television Station.

　　At the site of the event, TianShengsi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Work Committee, Deputy Director of the Administration Committee and Forest Chief of HZZK, explicated the understanding of Green and beautiful HZZK on behalf of ZhongkaiHigh-tech Zone, and demonstrated to the audience the achievements and the next planning and arrangementof "protecting green mountains and clear waters, building a beautiful HZZK". In the end, ZhongkaiHigh-tech Zone won the Excellence Award of the "Green and Beautiful Race for Charming Places of Guangdong”inthe regional competition of Huizhou.

　　For a long time, ZhongkaiHigh-tech Zone has adhered to the management of forests with institutional innovation. On the basis of implementing the system of "One Chief and Two Members", it has built a management of "village (community) police chief + forest chief" to protect the ecological construction of Green and beautiful HZZK. Continuously innovate the afforestationand greening mechanism, we have two ways for acquiring the land: the government renting the land and paying the cost; supplementing the land through independent land transformation by socialforce. We plan to comprehensively optimize key areas such as the mountains around GuandongForest Park and along ZhongkaiAvenue. Focusing on implementing the five-year plan of ecological restoration of 11 abandoned mines, and seeking to introduce social capital for the comprehensive development and utilization of mines at the same time, we make every effort to turn mines from "wastes" into "treasure". Solidly promoting the construction of the demonstration project of harmonious coexistence between man and nature in the water source protection area of GuandongReservoir, we make every endeavourtobuild GuandongForest Park into a provincial-level green and beautiful demonstration site, so that the public can share the achievements of ecological civilization. Combined with the Rural Revitalization and the "Hundreds and Thousands of Projects", we strive to promote the rural greening of demonstration towns and central towns, as well as the construction of urban parks along ZhongkaiAvenue, and gradually build a "10-minute park green space service circle" to create a high-quality green ecological environment in which forests and cities are interdependent and forests and people are integrated.
