Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province announced the names of the second batch of specialized, sophisticated, and innovative enterprises called the "Little Giant" which have passed the review. Eight enterprises that includes Huizhou TCL Wangpai High Frequency Electronic Co.,Ltd., Huizhou E-POWER Electronics Co., Ltd. etc., have been successfully selected into the public list of the “Little Giant” enterprises. Two companies, Wellav Technologies and U&T Electronics, have been successfully selected into the public list, and passed the review. So far, a total of 10 enterprises in Zhongkai High-tech Zone have been selected this year, ranking first in the city.

　　In recent years, Zhongkai High-tech Zone has adhered to the development campaign which focuses on manufacturing industry and is driven by innovation. With building a batch of "specialized, sophisticated, and innovative " companies as the approach, and supporting the cultivation and expansion of small and medium-sized enterprises through concentrating resources and building technology platforms, it has firmly forged a solid base of the "5+1" modern industrial system, and embarked on a development path to support small and medium-sized enterprises to be "specialized, sophisticated, and innovative".

　　According to statistics, a total of 8 enterprises in Zhongkai High-tech Zone were selected into the public list of the fifth batch of specialized, sophisticated, and innovative enterprises called the "Little Giant". The number of companies accounts for 42.1% of the city, ranking first (19 are selected in the whole city) and hitting a new high in a single year. The existing specialized, sophisticated, and innovative companies of "Little Giant" in the region will reach 21, which accounts for 38.18% of the city. The numbers of recognized and existing enterprises rank first in the city for four consecutive years, and the cultivation of high-quality SMEs and science and technology leading enterprises in Zhongkai High-tech Zone has reached a new level.

　　Specialized, sophisticated, and innovative enterprises of "Little Giant", is the highest honor in the field of small and medium-sized enterprises in China. The selected companies in Zhongkai High-tech Zone are those leading enterprises that focus on market segmentation, master core technologies, and with strong innovation ability, high market share, as well as excellent quality and efficiency. They all have dedicated in the industry subdivision for many years, some of them have researched and developed products to fill the gap of domestic market, and some have made up for the shortcomings of the industrial chain and achieved breakthroughs.

　　At present, Zhongkai High-tech Zone has formed a gradient business nurturing pattern, including 227 innovative SMEs of provincial level, 221 specialized, sophisticated, and innovative SMEs of provincial level, 5 provincial enterprises (products) that won single-item champions, 21 national specialized, sophisticated, and innovative enterprises of "Little Giant", 2 national key enterprises of "Little Giant", and 1 national enterprise that won single-item champion product, making the splendid moment constantly for building a well-known signboard of "Zhongkai Intelligent Manufacturing" .

　　It is reported that the Economic and Statistics Bureau of Zhongkai High-tech Zone has held nearly 10 policy advocating meetings this year, covering nearly 300 enterprises. Three themed publicity training and experience exchange meetings are also held for the application for specialized sophisticated, and innovative "Little Giant" enterprises, inviting provincial and municipal experts to interpret the details and precautions of the application process one by one. They help the majority of SMEs fully understand and make good use of the relevant policies for specialized, sophisticated, and innovative enterprises, effectively do a good job in the application work, improve the enterprises’ ability of innovation and standardization, and accelerate the realization of high-quality development of superior small and medium-sized enterprises.
