On June 24, the HZZK Hong Kong and Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Association held the inauguration ceremony for its first supervisory council. About 200 people attended the event, including Lai Jianhua, a member of the Standing Committee of Municipal Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department, Wu Xianmin, Secretary of the Party Work Committee and Director of the Administration Committee of the Zone, Zhong Yonglan, Executive Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Committee and Director of the Municipal Bureau of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs, Wang Yunbo, a member of the Party Work Committee and Director of the Comprehensive Office of the Zone, other heads of relevant departments of the city and zone, honorary presidents and all members of the Association. The leaders who attended the meeting issued relevant certificates of inauguration in the ceremony.

　　At the meeting, Song Dong, President of the first supervisory council of the HZZK Hong Kong and Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Association, Deng Shengwei, Executive President of the Association’s supervisory council, and Lin Qiyuan, Chairman of its supervisory council and other members of the supervisory council took office officially. The inauguration ceremony marked a new stage and journey in the development of the Hong Kong and Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Association.

　　On behalf of the Party Work Committee and Administration Committee, Wang Yunbo extended warm congratulations to the newly inaugurated first supervisory council, and expressed gratitude to leaders at all levels, Hong Kong and Macao compatriots as well as all sectors of society who have been concerned about and supported the economic and social development of HZZK High-tech Zone. He hoped that the association will give steadfast support and create a new atmosphere in leading Hong Kong and Macao youths to integrate into the overall development of the Greater Bay Area. It is necessary to provide good service and fulfil new achievements in building the brand of Hong Kong and Macao youth entrepreneurship; It is necessary to strengthen interlink and make new contributions in establishing a cooperation platform with characteristics of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.

　　Song Dong said, as an important platform for the exchange, learning, growth and development of youth members of Hong Kong and Macao, as well as an important carrier for the youths from Hong Kong and Macao to participate in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the new era, HZZK Hong Kong and Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Association will lead all members of the council to take the initiative to shoulder their responsibilities, turn their missions into action, further improve their service level, and help young friends from Hong Kong and Macao write a new chapter of their own wonders on the journey of struggle in the new era.

　　Zhu Yulong, Honorary President of the Association, delivered a speech to youths from Hong Kong and Macao at the inauguration ceremony. The event also held a ceremony for the awarding of entrepreneurial mentors, outstanding directors and supervisors and outstanding members of the association.

　　We have known that the HZZK Hong Kong and Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Association is the first specialized new type of association of Hong Kong and Macao that registered in the Chinese mainland, and the members are mainly youths from Hong Kong and Macao engaged in innovation and entrepreneurship. Since its foundation in 2020, it has 124 members in total, covering many industries such as intelligent manufacturing, financial services, social security, legal auditing, and design of news media.
