To provide more benefits to the people under the jurisdiction of Lilin Town, focus on their livelihood concerns, and implement people's livelihood security policies actively, Lilin Town government conducted the activity of "advocating policy face to face, benefiting people by warmhearted service" in the red rental house of Yingguang Village on the afternoon of April 21. The Party building office, comprehensive administration office, social affairs working group, anti-narcotics working group, Communist Youth League committee of the town, its police station, health center, social work service station, disabled persons' federation, community social organization federation, the Double Hundred Volunteer Service team, the Party and the mass service center of Yingguang village, red rental house and other departments jointly participated in the activity.

　　Outdoor policy advocacy was arranged and indoor lectures were also held at the site, so that the public could get acquainted with the policy and learn the knowledge of Chinese medicine health care and anti-fraud methods.

　　Outside the red rental house, five booths were set up respectively for the advocacy of civil affairs policy as well as the advocacy of anti-fraud knowledge, anti-drug knowledge and knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine health and adolescent mental health. Relevant brochures were provided at each advocacy booth by the staff and the masses got access to the consultant from a specialist. During that time, many people raised their questions to the staff about current policies such as the trans-regional procedures of applying for certificates for the disabled and the service card for the elderly, and the staff patiently explained to them to achieve “advocating policy face to face”.

　　In the red rental house, Dr. Li led everyone to learn traditional Chinese medicine physique identification through the lectures with PPT presentation, found health regimens of traditional Chinese medicine suitable for themselves through identifying their physique, and popularizing health knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine. After the lecture, the doctor also gave massages, applied acupuncture, measured blood pressure, and provided other services for the elderly at the site. In the anti-fraud lecture, Officer Yang vividly demonstrated real cases of several usual scams such as “impersonating personnel of state organs”, “false investment” and “impersonating leaders and acquaintances” that happened around him to the audience, reminding everyone not to be tempted to cut corners.

　　More than 160 publicity materials were distributed and more than 130 people consulted with the staff, which was unanimously praised by the public. The people's livelihood policy is related to the well-being of thousands of households. This activity was an opportunity to actively publicize the Party's policy benefiting the people, so that the people can truly understand where the benefits come from and what are the benefits of the policy, and strengthen their confidence and determination to firmly and resolutely follow the Party and let them feel grateful for the Party's favor. In the next step, Lilin Town government will continue to advocate in villages (communities), so that the policy benefiting the people can approach the people and warm their hearts.
