　　“Among the enterprise projects settled in the Smart Zone, more than 80% of investors are from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, of which more than 70% are from Shenzhen. It sufficiently approves that the Smart Zone has become a “treasure land” and “hot spot”, which is a familiar and favored place for enterprises from Greater Bay Area, especially from Shenzhen to invest and start up their enterprises. Wu Xianmin, Party secretary of HZZK Industrial Development Zone and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Smart Zone, said in his speech that 2023 is a crucial year for Tonghu Ecological Smart Zone to accelerate high-quality development and achieve breakthroughs. The smart zone will unswervingly implement the strategy of keeping manufacturing as the dominant industry, continue to expand the economic aggregate, improve the quality of development, cultivate a "5+1" modern industrial system with more core competitiveness, strengthen the development of the industrial cluster, and help enterprises promote the coordinated support of industrial chain and supply chain. This year, 5 square kilometers of industrial land will be allocated for the planning of the Tonghu Ecological Smart Zone. 　　144 projects have been introduced into the Smart Zone

　　It is reported that, as of February 2023, 144 projects have been introduced into the Smart Zone, with a total planned investment of 116.4 billion yuan. According to the number of projects introduced so far, the output value is expected to reach 287.9 billion yuan. Most of these projects focus on the field of intelligent manufacturing, and more and more upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain intend to settle in the Smart Zone and invest in new projects here to create their "second growth drivers".

　　At present, the Smart Zone is developing towards the top of the industrial pyramid with high technology content and attracting targeted investment for cluster-based leading industries such as mobile smart terminals, ultra-HD-video displays, smart energy, artificial intelligence, laser and additive manufacturing. It is expected to have a positive effect to Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
