On the morning of February 23rd, a ceremony for signing of the strategic cooperation framework agreement between the Administrative Committee of Huizhou Zhongkai Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone and Beijing Enterprises Water Group Limited （BEWG）was held at the Kerong Venture Building. It was attended by Tian Shengsi, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee, Zhuang Yuping, Deputy Director of the District Management Committee and Director of Huinan Science and Technology Park Management Committee, and Jian Chang, Vice President of BEWG and General Manager of the Southern Region of BEWG.

　　Zhuang Yuping congratulated the signing of the agreement and pointed out that the strategic cooperation agreement signed between the two parties will establish a deep cooperation relationship in the areas such as water supply and sewage treatment facilities construction, underground water pipe network quality and efficiency upgrading and improvement, and smart water service development. This will surely play a significant role in promoting the improvement of the ecological environment quality of Zhongkai and laying a solid environmental foundation for the comprehensive construction of a first-class national high-tech zone in Zhongkai. He further added that in the future, Zhongkai High-tech Industrial Development Zone will fully implement the “High-quality Development Project for Thousands of Counties, Villages, and Towns” and accelerate the construction of sewage interception and drainage facilities while strengthening the integrated governance of the whole basin's water environment to achieve the integrated operation of “smart water network” and fill in the gaps in water ecological governance.

　　It is reported that BEWG is a flagship enterprise in environmental governance under Beijing Enterprises Group Company Limited, a large-scale water service group with core competitiveness in China, focusing on water resource recycling and water ecological environment protection. It has very strong technical reserves and talent advantages in the fields of municipal water, industrial water, rural water, and environmental sanitation and solid waste with accumulated industry experience in the fields of water environment governance, sewage treatment, urban water supply and drainage, and urban sanitation. Later, the Administrative Committee of Huizhou Zhongkai Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone will cooperate with BEWG in the comprehensive treatment of water environment, sewage treatment, water supply and drainage, and water conservancy.
