On the morning of February 10, the launch ceremony of Ganfeng Lithium Group’s R&D and Production Base Project of High-end Polymer Lithium Battery was held in Chenjiang Street, which was jointly attended by WU Xianmin, the Secretary of the District Party Committee, HU Wei, the Second-level Researcher of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, TANG Jun, the deputy director of the district management committee, XIAO Haiyan, the Vice President of Jiangxi Ganfeng LiEnergy Co., Ltd., and BIN Shu, the General Manager of Huizhou Ganfeng LiEnergy Co., Ltd., and other leading guests. Relevant departments of HZZK Hi-tech Zone and principals of Huizhou Ganfeng LiEnergy Co., Ltd. also attended the ceremony.

　　On behalf of the District Committee and the District Management Committee, TANG Jun congratulated the completion and operation of Ganfeng Lithium Group’s R&D and production base project of high-end polymer lithium battery; and pointed out that it would leave a profound impact on the development of the energy industry of HZZK Hi-tech Zone and be of great significance in consolidating the location advantages of HZZK Hi-tech Zone and even Huizhou in the national smart energy industry. TANG hoped that Huizhou Ganfeng LiEnergy Co., Ltd., would continue to carry forward the efficiency and enthusiasm as well as enterprising and practical spirit during the project construction period, so as to fully promote the project production. In addition, she said that the departments of HZZK Hi-tech Zone will, as always, do a good job to serve the production, fully solve various problems that need to be coordinated by the government during the process, create a sound production and operation environment for the project to reach its production as soon as possible, and jointly make positive contributions to  opening up a new situation of building HZZK Hi-tech Zone into a national first-class high-tech zone in an all-round way and constructing Huizhou into a more prosperous and livable first-class city in China.

　　It is known that Ganfeng Lithium is a world-leading lithium ecological enterprise, which has maintained the cutting edge in the development of high-safety and long-cycle new lithium iron phosphate battery system technology, active balancing BMS module technology, fast charging technology of high voltage platform polymer, high capacity button battery for TWS Bluetooth headset, solid electrolyte separator and all-solid-state battery system. The Group’s R&D and production base project of high-end polymer lithium battery is located in Shizhen Village, Chenjiang Street, HZZK Hi-tech Zone, covering an area of about 130000 m², with a total construction area of about 300,000 square meters, which is planned to have 2 R&D office buildings, 7 workshops and 3 dormitories. At present, Huizhou Ganfeng LiEnergy Co., Ltd., has invested 1.6 billion yuan to build the most advanced notebook (mobile phone) battery production line in China, with an annual output value of about 2 billion yuan. This year, it also plans to continue to invest 800 million yuan to construct a more high-end laminated battery production line, which can adapt to notebook computers, unmanned aerial vehicles, electric vehicles and other high-rate application scenarios. By 2025, it is expected to complete the investment scale of 4 billion yuan and reach the output value of 6 billion yuan.
