On the morning of January 30, HZZK Hi-tech Zone held the 2022 Democratic Consultation of district leadership to carry out comprehensive contrast inspection, conduct criticism and self-criticism, and clarify the direction of rectification. LAI Jianhua, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Head of the United Front Work Department, attended the meeting, which was presided over by WU Xianmin, Secretary of the District Party Committee.

　　During the meeting, WU Xianmin reported the implementation of the rectification measures for the 2021 special Democratic Consultation and the preparations for the 2022 session, and made a comparative inspection speech on behalf of the district leadership. WU deeply analyzed the main problems and the causes existing in the district leadership, and put forward the direction and measures for future rectification.

　　LAI Jianhua, after listening to the speech of the district leadership, said that through this democratic consultation, the leading group of HZZK Hi-tech Zone had thoroughly investigated and analyzed problems, found differences in work and thought, and actively shared and solved problems, reflecting a high level of political standing and a firm determination to reform. LAI expressed that, in the next step, it is important to focus on the rectification of problems and ensure solid achievements of the democratic consultation; to adhere to self-revolution and promote the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party for deep development; and to strengthen the practical responsibility and promote high-quality development with cohesion.

　　WU Xianmin noted that the district leadership would make full use of the achievements of the democratic consultation, combine the speech spirit of the Jianhua Standing Committee, carefully sort out the criticism and suggestions, take solid and effective rectification measures, and carry out all rectification work stably, so as to consolidate the new driving force to promote high-quality development with tangible rectification solutions, and make greater contributions to Huizhou's acceleration of building a new growth pole for high-quality development in Guangdong.

　　WU put forward three requirements on how to implement the spirit of democratic consultation. Firstly, taking the lead in securing the political direction, and adhering to the "two maintenance" more firmly and consciously. The district leadership should put political construction in the first place, deeply understand the decisive significance of "two establishes ", strengthen "four consciousness" and "four self-confidence", and constantly improve political judgment, understanding and execution; and should also strictly abide by political discipline and rules to create a clean and upright political environment. Secondly, taking the lead in strengthening the theoretical armed forces and strengthening the Party spirit more firmly and consciously. It is essential to persistently adopt XI Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era to concentrate and cast the soul, take the lead in studying and implementing the important speeches of General Secretary XI Jinping and the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, make continuous efforts to learn, understand and carry out practical work, effectively improve the ideological level and enhance the ability to plan and promote the high-quality development of HZZK. Thirdly, taking the lead in strengthening political responsibility and promoting high-quality development more firmly and consciously. It is essential to regard this democratic consultation as a new beginning to promote the high-quality development of HZZK, aim at the target and pay close attention to the implementation, and catch up with others and strive for championship. It is also important to accumulate the development potential with high quality, improve the city-level with high efficiency, solve specific problems of people's livelihood with high standards, and strengthen the grass-roots party building with high standing, so as to lead the majority of party members and cadres in the district in promoting the competition in all fields, and striving to create a new prospect of building a national first-class high-tech zone.

　　During the meeting, the district leadership of the Party Committee, in combination with their practical work, made a personal contrast inspection speech in turn, and seriously carried out criticism and self-criticism, investigated problems, dug into the root causes, put forward rectification measures, and accepted the criticism and suggestions of other members one by one. The meeting had reached the goal of unifying thoughts, gathering strength, deepening consensus, enhancing solidarity and promoting common development.
