On the morning of October 26, HZZK Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone (Zhong Kai High-tech Zone) held a meeting of the Standing Committee of the District Committee with a view to convey the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech delivered in the 20^th National Congress of the CPC (the 20th Party Congress) and the spirit of the 20^th Party Congress, and study the learning, publicity, and implementation work of our district. Wu Xianmin, Party Secretary of District Committee, presided over the meeting. 

　　It was pointed out in the meeting that the 20^th Party Congress is held at a crucial moment when the whole Party and the people of all ethnic groups across the country embark on a new journey of building a modern socialist country in an all-round manner and fight for the goal of the second century. This report is the latest achievement of localization and modernization of Marxism in China. It is also an action guide, programmatic document and political declaration for building a modern socialist country in an all-round manner and advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, which is endowed with significant political, practical and far-reaching historical significance for promoting the whole Party to further unify its thinking, will and actions, and uniting and leading the people of all ethnic groups across the country to write a more splendid chapter of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era. 

　　The following points were highlighted at the meeting: we should, from a higher standing position, thoroughly study and comprehend the essence, main idea and rich connotation of the spirit of the 20^th Party Congress, firmly grasp the great significance of the work in the past five years and the 10-year great changes in the new era, faithfully support the "two establishment" and resolutely carry out the "two maintenance"; firmly grasp the world outlook and methodology of Xi Jinping thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, and promote the Party's innovation theory to take root and bear fruitful results in Zhong Kai High-tech Zone; firmly grasp the mission of advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese-style modernization, endeavor to attain new results in boosting high-quality development and promoting common prosperity, and pace up in the construction of a national first-class high-tech zone; firmly grasp the vital requirements of leading the great social revolution with the great self-revolution, persistently push forward the comprehensive and strict administration of the Party, and provide a powerful political guarantee for the reform and development of Zhong Kai High-tech Zone; firmly grasp the requirements of the times for unity and struggle, and gather the majestic strength of 530,000 Zhong Kai people to the greatest extent to forge ahead on the new journey and make contributions to the new area.

　　It was stressed at the meeting that we should, with knowledge and action in unity, lead the high-quality development of Zhong Kai High-tech Zone with the spirit of the 20^th Party Congress, place emphasis on real economy in economic development, unswervingly develop and expand the "5+1" modern industrial cluster, and uniformly and intensively build hundreds-of-billions-level industrial platforms such as the starting area of China-South Korea (Huizhou) Industrial Park and Guangdong (Zhong Kai) Artificial Intelligence Industrial Park, speed up the progressing, commencement and construction of projects, and gather high-quality new development momentum with industrial platforms and projects; we should, always upholding the people-centered development idea, vigorously perfect the traffic network as well as municipal supporting facilities, accelerate the renovation and expansion works of a number of schools, deepen the comprehensive reform of public medical institutions, spare no efforts to guarantee stable employment, and continue to improve people's well-being; we should push forward rural revitalization in all respects and continue to fight for blue skies, clear waters and pure land; we should make overall plans for development and security, practically pay close attention to all detailed aspects of epidemic prevention and control, promote special rectification of risks arising from production safety, and intensify the overall prevention and control for the sake of social security.

　　Besides, the meeting also stressed that we should create an atmosphere and quickly set off an upsurge of learning, publicizing, and implementing the spirit of the 20th Party Congress. Leading cadres should take the lead in setting a good example, i.e. learn one step ahead of others and learn deeper than others, so as to guide and drive the majority of Party members and cadres in the whole region to strengthen their study; we should quickly draw up the work plans and promote the learning, publicity and implementation of the spirit of the 20^th Party Congress in Zhong Kai High-tech Zone in distinctive and fruitful forms.
