On the morning of August 31, the foundation stone laying ceremony of Gaoshengda IoT & Intelligent Terminal Base was held in Zhongkai High-tech Industrial Development Zone. Tian Shengsi, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the District Management Committee, Tang Jun, Deputy Director of the District Management Committee, Zhao Zhongyao, Chairman and CEO of Gaoshengda Holdings, Xue Quan, Professor of the School of Microelectronics, South China University of Technology, as well as other leaders and guests attended the ceremony, and jointly lay the foundation for the commencement of construction of the project.

　　Tang Jun expressed congratulations upon the commencement of construction of the project of Gaoshengda IoT & Intelligent Terminal Base. She stated that the commencement and construction of this project fully demonstrates the recognition of Huizhou Gaoshengda Technology Co., Ltd. towards the investment environment of our zone, fully embodies the acumen of seizing opportunities and the effectiveness of communication and cooperation between government and enterprises, which is of enormous significance to boosting the industrial development of our zone. Zhongkai High-tech Industrial Development Zone will deepen service support to a further extent and upgrade the quality and increase speed of project construction with all efforts. She wishes that Huizhou Gaoshengda Technology Co., Ltd. can carry forward the exemplary working style of daring to brave forward and work hard and being pragmatic and enterprising, and spare no effort to expedite the construction of the project, strive for the early completion and commissioning of the project, and bring into play high efficiency. Simultaneously, she wishes that the company can continue to introduce high-quality resources, encourage more entrepreneurs to make investment and business promotion and pursue common development in Zhongkai, and jointly make positive contributions to building Zhongkai into a national first-class high-tech zone and Huizhou into a domestic first-class city.

　　Zhao Zhongyao said that since 2015, Gaoshengda has taken root in Zhonggkai and made enormous development with the powerful support of Huizhou City and Zhonggkai High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and it has also scored new heights in respect of output value. Gaoshengda IoT & Intelligent Terminal Base is intended to meet Gaoshengda's need for technology listing and business development, and it will also become a significant project to support Gaoshengda and listed companies in realizing an output value/market value of RMB 10 billion. He expressed profound confidence in this project as well as Gaoshengda's future development prospects.

　　Xue Quan indicated that Gaoshengda IoT & Intelligent Terminal Base embodies the far-sighted wisdom and decision-making power of Gao Shengda's decision-making level as well as local government in the layout of science and technology industry. He hoped that the School of Electronics and Information and the School of Microelectronics of South China University of Technology would make more contributions to the development of electronic science and technology information industry in this base in the future.

　　It is learned that Huizhou Gaoshengda Technology Co., Ltd. is chiefly specialized in R&D, manufacturing and sales of wireless modules, and it is at the forefront of similar enterprises in China by virtue of comprehensive strength. The project of Gaoshengda IoT & Intelligent Terminal Base covers a total land area of around 89,249 square meters (land supply in two phases) and a building area of around 178,500 square meters, with a planned gross investment of RMB 1.309 billion. After the project is fully completed and reaches design capacity, it is estimated that the total annual sales will amount to about RMB 4.1 billion.
