As the Spring Festival is coming close, HZZK has introduced encouraging measures and invested nearly RMB 10 million fund, in three forms, to express concern and care for corporate staff who stay in HZZK during the Spring Festival and help them engender the sense of contentment and happiness and build up a sense of belonging.
Our journalists have learnt that, to support companies to actively meet changes in the market, respond to the pandemic and keep the industrial chain and supply chain stable, HZZK High-tech Zone has offered one-off Rewards and Allowances for Ensuring Stability in Employment to companies that have non-suspended production during the 2022 Spring Festival months. Industrial companies with annual revenue over RMB 20 million and have registered in HZZK can apply for this allowance. But each of their electricity consumptions from January to February, 2022 shall be over 170% of theirs in December, 2021 and output value in these 2 months shall increase by over 15% year on year. It provides a standard RMB 300 allowance for each of the staff and can be applied through companies as a group. Companies can apply for it between March 15th to April 1st, 2022, based on the number of non-local province staff who have paid social insurance, not left Huizhou in December, 2021 and will stay in Huizhou to celebrate the Spring Festival in February, 2022. Companies will be preferentially selected according to their ranking scores of output growth rate (accounting 50%)and increment of electricity use(accounting 50%)(Detailed rules are subject to the Application Guide). Each company has a capping allowance of RMB 150,000 (and will be given later in the form of consumer vouchers).
It is reported that, to support companies to maintain stable development and employment, fromFebruary 1st to 20th this year, HZZK High-tech Zone will provide company transportation subsidies for companies arrange their staff to return to work in Huizhou after the festival in“One-stop”charted transportation means. Companies arrange staff to take charted coaches to return to work in Huizhou shall be given subsidies at 50% of each route’s normal price for charted coach and are capped at RMB 5,000. For companies arrange staff to return to work in Huizhou by charted airplanes, each of their trip will be given RMB 60,000 subsidy.
HZZK will also organize activities to express care for the daily living of company staff sending support and concern for non-local staff working in Huizhou in the form of gratitude visits. It will carry out a variety of recreational & sports activities in the premise of comprehensive virus-spread prevention arrangements.
We were told that, many companies with large number of staff in HZZK High-tech Zone, such as: CSOT, Longcheer, EVE and many others have introduced a reward mechanism to encourage staff to stay in their factories during the Spring Festival. EVE offered the reward for staff remain at their posts during the Lunar New Year holiday at as much as RMB 4,000 and Desay SV gave out Big Incentive Gift Packs to encourage staff to celebrate the festival in Huizhou. The number of CSOT staff stay in Huizhou is expected to exceed 95%.
