To thoroughly implement president Xi Jinping’s thoughts on ecological civilization and the principles of relevant Central, provincial and municipal conferences, HZZK High-tech Zone has recently held the Mobilization Meeting for Welcoming the Forth Working Group of Environmental Protection Supervision from the Central Government to Supervise the Work done by Guangdong Province. District leaders including Wu Xianmin, the secretary of HZZK High-tech Zone Party Committee, and heads of various parks, towns (sub-districts), district and relevant units in Zhongkai attended the meeting.

　　Wu Xianmin stressed that the Central Government led Supervision on Environmental Protection would thoroughly inspect but also strongly improve the environmental protection work of the entire district, and will vigorously promote the construction of ecological civilization and environmental protection and boost the high-quality development in our district. Departments at all levels should further increase their awareness, unify their thoughts, specify their roles and duties, and mobilize their energy to ensure successful completion of the tasks of the Central Environmental Protection Supervision Group.

　　Wu Xianmin put forward three requirements on how to get well prepared for this supervision. First, we should deeply understand the significance and urgency of this supervision on environmental protection and effectively integrate our thinking and actions into the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee. We should seriously study and seize the important indications given by General Secretary Xi Jinping on ecological civilization building and the principles of the Mobilization Meeting for Welcoming the Forth Working Group of Environmental Protection Supervision from the Central Government to Supervise the Work done by Guangdong Province. We should strengthen the sense of responsibility and do everything against time to rectify ecological and environmental problems to make sure that we can successfully pass the inspection. Second, we should fully grasp the focuses of this supervision and make full cooperation with a strong sense of political consciousness and responsibility. We should conscientiously and meticulously cooperate with the Working Group of Supervision to completely implement their arrangements and requirements. We should improve the key tasks including ledger supervision perfection and full implementation of rectification as well as open up a new horizon for the supervision and rectification on environmental protection and environmental quality improvement by unifying the mind, inspiring the spirit, and cohesiveness. Third, it is necessary to establish sound mechanisms and systems to guarantee the smooth progression of this supervision work. We have to specify responsibilities of each level, enhance the communication and coordination between superiors and subordinates, and build up an accountability mechanism to ensure that all tasks are implemented.
